We’re looking for a skilled glazier to add to our growing staff. In this position, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing glass to meet our clients’ specifications.

You will need to be very familiar with various types of glass and the techniques that are used in this profession. For example, you will need to be able to interpret blueprints so that you can accurately determine the shape, size, and thickness of the glass that is needed in a project. The role of the glazier is a physically demanding one. So you should be fit enough to carry large objects and capable of spending the majority of the day working on your feet.

• Interpret blueprints to determine the type, shape, and thickness of glass that is needed for each project
• Measure and cut the glass to ensure it meets the client’s specifications
• Install the glass where it’s needed, using caution to ensure that the installation lasts for as long as possible
• Load and unload glass panels as dictated by project needs
• Remove old pieces of glass from doors, windows, and displays

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed apprenticeship or training program in glaziery
• All state-mandated licenses required to practice
• Physical ability to lift heavy glass panels regularly
• Valid driver’s license
• Professional attitude and appearance
